P2P

File sharing is allowing the distribution and sharing of digital media such as documents, programs, books, music, etc. P2P file sharing is essentially platforms that allow file sharing directly from one person to another. This can be websites that you essentially find files on, such as music downloading websites where you obtain music files that other people have downloaded onto the platform. Such examples of P2P file sharing can be programs such as LimeWire or torrent websites such as BearShare. Anyone is able to download files onto the program and allow anyone else to essentially obtain such files. Movie sharing is significant especially at an age where piracy is prominent as well as the music industry where people obtain music without actually purchasing the music.
